Advice on choosing a location. Make sure you have enough free hands to carry your pop up tent, most will sit on your back like a little rucksack. Also make sure you bring everything you need with you. Write a checklist down and then tick it off (preferably with another person before you leave for your camping. Once the car is parked securely, take everything an venture off to the allowed camping areas.
Find a space that is flat, not below a tree, a good distance away from other campers. Also reserve pop up tent space for more of your campers if they are arriving at a later time. It’s an idea to be in line to something easy to spot. Don’t set up on a ledge, you will probably fall down it after a few beers. Also make sure the toilets aren’t miles away or be within distance of some nice bushes (hope you have toilet roll). The instructions in the tent are really easy to understand. Once you have decided that this location will be a good one, no obvious dangers like hanging branches around then simply pop up and go! Finally make sure the tent is stable and that everything fits together, nothing seems odd about it. Other tenters will be most jeleous when they see how quickly you get started! Crack open a beer, sit down and relax, you have done well. Next go investigate the camping ground to see if there are showering facilietes, places to eat etc.
